Apple has declared several of its older iPhone models as “obsolete,” meaning that if these devices break, they cannot be repaired by the company. This list includes popular models like the iPhone 5S, released in 2013, among others. Once an Apple product reaches its tenth birthday, the company stops ordering repair parts for it, rendering it obsolete.

Generally, Apple products are considered obsolete if the company stopped distributing them for sale more than seven years ago. Most iPhones receive six to eight years of software support before they become obsolete.
This list also includes other Apple products such as MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, iPods, and Apple Watches. Users with these older models might consider upgrading to ensure they continue to receive support and updates.
