William and Zachary Zulock, a Georgia couple, have been sentenced to 100 years in prison without parole for the egregious sexual abuse of their two adopted sons. The couple pleaded guilty to aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, and sexual exploitation of children. Prosecutors revealed that the Zulocks forced the boys, aged 10 and 12, to engage in sexual acts, filmed the abuse to create child pornography, and trafficked the children in a local pedophile sex ring.

Adopted through a Christian special-needs agency, the boys were presented as part of a seemingly perfect family living in an affluent Atlanta suburb. However, a police investigation in 2022 uncovered a disturbing reality. The Zulocks bragged about their actions on social media, with messages and images providing damning evidence. A separate child pornography case led investigators to the couple, unraveling the horrors hidden within their home.

Walton County District Attorney Randy McGinley described their residence as a “house of horrors,” commending the young victims for their resilience. “The depth of the defendants’ depravity… is not greater than the resolve of those who fought for justice,” McGinley stated. The boys are now in a safe environment and receiving support as they begin their recovery journey.

The case has ignited widespread outrage and brought renewed attention to child protection measures in the adoption system. Advocates are calling for stricter vetting processes and monitoring to prevent such devastating abuse in the future.
