Jason Momoa, known for his roles in “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones,” has recently opened up about his current lifestyle, revealing that he doesn’t have a permanent residence following his divorce from Lisa Bonet. The actor shared with Entertainment Tonight that he is now living ‘on the road,’ surprising fans when he appears in unexpected small towns.
Momoa and Bonet, who announced their separation in 2022, released a joint statement on Instagram regarding their decision to part ways. They expressed, “We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
Following the swift settlement of their divorce, as reported by Today, Momoa disclosed his current nomadic lifestyle. “Bro, I don’t even have a home right now,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I live on the road. So, I’m down to New Zealand to start Minecraft. I hope everyone loves it.”
Momoa’s new venture is an HBO documentary titled “On the Roam,” where he travels across the country, engaging with various artisans. These artisans create unique art pieces using items like vintage bikes and musical instruments. The documentary showcases these creations, which are later auctioned for charity.
The actor expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “I love the idea of just being with everyday people and doing my craft, which is filming, and then showing them.” He also shared his passion for handcrafted art and his desire to honor the artisans who inspire him. Momoa looks forward to using his platform to promote these artists and their work.
The series, which premieres on HBO Max on January 18, is a reflection of Momoa’s interest in exploring and supporting artisan crafts. He plans to use Instagram to promote the auction of the unique items featured in the show, aiming to “spread some love.”
