A woman who accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 has been caught on tape admitting that the incident never happened. In an audio recording obtained by ABC News, she can be heard telling private investigators that while Jay-Z was present at the event in question, he never engaged in any sexual activity with her. She also claimed that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, “pushed” her to include Jay-Z in the lawsuit, which was filed in December.
The lawsuit, which also accused Diddy of drugging and assaulting her, was dropped in February. However, in her official dismissal, the woman stated that she still stood by her original claims. Buzbee has since denied that he pressured his client to make false accusations and provided his own audio recording in which she insists she never retracted her allegations. The conflicting recordings have only added to the controversy surrounding the case.

Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, responded to the new evidence by stating that his client hopes this development will finally put an end to the “painful saga” of false accusations. Meanwhile, private investigator Charlotte Henderson, who obtained the recording, insists she was not hired by Jay-Z or his legal team, raising questions about who initiated the investigation. The case has drawn significant public attention, especially as similar accusations have surfaced against other high-profile figures in the music industry.
In response to the recording, Jay-Z has filed a defamation lawsuit against both the woman and Buzbee. Buzbee, in turn, has dismissed the tape as a “fraud,” claiming the woman was harassed and tricked into contradicting herself. With both sides standing firm, the legal battle is far from over, and the controversy surrounding the accusations continues to unfold.
