Jeremy Clarkson has reportedly ended his long-standing working relationship with James May and Richard Hammond after 21 years. The trio, known for their adventures on BBC’s Top Gear and later Amazon Prime’s The Grand Tour, have decided to dissolve their production company, W Chump and Sons. This decision was reportedly approved on June 11 by Companies House, the official body for managing company registrations in the UK.

Clarkson, who has recently been focusing on his farming show Clarkson’s Farm and a new venture with his pub Hawkstone Arms, appears to be moving in a different direction from his former co-hosts. Despite their success together, it seems the era of Clarkson, Hammond, and May as a trio has come to an end.

In a recent interview, Clarkson highlighted the differences between filming his solo farming show and The Grand Tour. He noted that Clarkson’s Farm involves no scripts or planned scenes, contrasting with the highly scripted nature of The Grand Tour. This shift in his career focus might have contributed to the dissolution of their partnership.

The news has disappointed many fans who hoped to see the trio continue their onscreen chemistry. However, Clarkson remains optimistic about his new ventures, while Hammond and May have yet to comment publicly on the situation. This marks the end of an era for the beloved television presenters, whose dynamic and entertaining partnership has been a staple in automotive and adventure programming for over two decades.
