Kanye West is demanding that Donald Trump step in to release Sean “Diddy” Combs from jail. The rapper took to social media, tagging Trump in a series of posts calling for his longtime friend’s freedom.
Combs is currently being held without bail as he awaits trial on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. A judge ruled him a “serious flight risk,” denying his request for bail. West, however, is pushing back, calling Diddy his “hero” and arguing that authorities are “trying to prove a point” with his imprisonment.
One of Kanye’s posts simply read, “PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF,” while another ranted about how Combs “gave his life to us.” He also claimed that Combs only gets “one call a morning,” suggesting restrictions on his communication.
Alongside his criminal case, Combs is facing multiple civil lawsuits. A recent suit alleges he “dehumanized” an adult entertainer and used surveillance to control him. His legal team has denied all allegations, stating that he has “never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.”
Trump has yet to respond to Kanye’s plea, and it remains unclear whether the former president would intervene. Given the severity of the charges, Combs’ legal battle is far from over, regardless of Kanye’s vocal support.
