As the video progresses, she and her on-screen lover shed layers of clothing, with the male model eventually appearing in just his underwear. The video has sparked attention due to its provocative visuals, continuing Perry’s trend of bold and daring artistic choices.
The release follows her performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she performed a medley of her hits before receiving the Video Vanguard Award. Perry’s collaboration with rapper Doechii on the track has also drawn attention, with the pair performing together during the VMAs.
