Kevin Spacey is making headlines again, this time for reportedly refusing to vacate his Baltimore mansion after it was sold at auction. The 65-year-old actor, who has faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct in recent years, was unable to keep up with the $20,230 monthly mortgage payments on the property, leading to its foreclosure. The mansion, located on a pier in Baltimore, was recently purchased by investor Sam Asgari for $3.24 million—a significant drop from the $5.6 million Spacey paid for it in 2017 during the height of his career on Netflix’s House of Cards.

Despite the sale, Asgari claims that Spacey has asked for six months to leave the property without paying rent, a request that has caused concern for the new owner. However, Spacey’s attorney, Edward U. Lee III, has denied Asgari’s accusations, stating that they are false. Spacey himself has acknowledged his financial difficulties, revealing in an interview with Piers Morgan that he is unsure where he will live next and that he is millions of dollars in debt due to ongoing legal battles.

Spacey’s financial struggles have persisted despite his recent efforts to revive his career, including a role in the film Peter Five Eight, released earlier this year. The actor’s predicament underscores the challenges he faces as he attempts to rebuild his life and career following his acquittal of sexual offense charges in 2023. However, the dispute over his Baltimore mansion adds another layer of complexity to his already tumultuous situation.
