A Russian tourist, identified as 26-year-old Evgenii Kuvshinov, found himself in a bizarre and dangerous situation in Surat Thani, southern Thailand, after he was reportedly attacked by a cow he attempted to mount while naked. The incident occurred on August 15, when concerned locals noticed Kuvshinov wandering around without any clothes. When they heard his screams, they discovered him lying injured on the ground, being gored by a brown cow.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, where they found cannabis in Kuvshinov’s car, leading them to suspect he was under the influence of the drug. A paramedic who treated him suggested that Kuvshinov might have been trying to engage in sexual activity with the cow, though there was no conclusive evidence to confirm this. Police Lieutenant Thongchai Chaikit stated that while they couldn’t be certain of Kuvshinov’s intentions, they found no smell of alcohol on him, and his passport was torn apart in his car.
After being taken to the hospital for treatment, Kuvshinov reportedly became uncontrollable, leading doctors to refuse to admit him. He was subsequently detained at the local police station, where authorities are waiting for the tourist police and immigration police to conduct a further investigation. The unusual incident has drawn significant attention due to its bizarre nature and the involvement of drugs.
