In a recent interview with Fox News, Melania claimed that the Obamas failed to provide essential details that would have made the transition smoother for the incoming Trump administration, calling the move “challenging” due to the lack of cooperation.
Reflecting on the first move into the White House, Melania stated that the previous administration withheld key logistical and procedural information, making the process unnecessarily difficult. “We didn’t have much of the information. The information was withheld from us by the previous administration,” she alleged. This lack of communication, she suggested, added unnecessary complications to what was already a complex transition.
Now preparing for her second stint as First Lady, Melania emphasized how different the experience has been. She explained that this time, everything is ready in advance, from furniture selection to detailed plans for the move. “It’s very different this time,” she said. “I already packed, I know where I’m going, and I have all the plans.”
