Mike Tyson is being sued for $1.6 million by Medier, a Cyprus-based gambling company, over an alleged breach of a promotional agreement. Medier claims Tyson and his company, Tyrannic LLC, unlawfully terminated their deal to promote an online casino in favor of a fight against Jake Paul, which was sponsored by Netflix. The lawsuit, filed in London, accuses Tyson of causing the company significant financial losses.

Tyson’s representatives deny the allegations, asserting that Medier violated the agreement first, prompting the termination. They claim this decision was made to protect Tyson’s brand from reputational harm. The fight with Jake Paul, held on November 16, ended in Tyson’s defeat via unanimous decision, yet Tyson has not ruled out future bouts, hinting at a possible challenge to Logan Paul.

The legal battle highlights ongoing disputes between celebrity endorsers and corporate entities over contracts and priorities. Medier is seeking compensation for damages while Tyson’s team remains adamant that they acted within their rights.
