Miley Cyrus Wears Dress Made Entirely Of Safety Pins On Grammys Red Carpet

Miley Cyrus made a striking entrance at the 2024 Grammys, dazzling onlookers with her bold fashion choice on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 31-year-old “Flowers” artist drew inspiration from Madonna’s legendary cone bra, donning a custom Maison Margiela ensemble crafted entirely from gold safety pins. The mesh gown, revealing almost all of her skin, strategically covered only her breasts and featured a metal panty at the waist. Cyrus also seemed to channel her godmother, Dolly Parton, with her hair teased into a towering style.

Embracing the golden theme, Cyrus wore gold Tabi heels and opted to forego accessories, allowing her statement dress to stand out.

Arriving solo without her boyfriend Maxx Morando, 25, whom she started dating in 2021 following a blind date, Cyrus was preceded by her mother Tish and sister Brandi on the red carpet. The pop star, who recently dyed her hair brunette for the first time in a decade, is poised for a significant evening, potentially winning her first Grammy award.

Cyrus is slated to perform her hit single “Flowers” live for the first time at the Grammys, marking her inaugural performance of her own music at the awards show.

Nominated for six awards, including album of the year for “Endless Summer Vacation” and song of the year for “Flowers,” Cyrus’s collaboration with Brandi Carlile, “Thousand Miles,” is also in contention for best pop duo/group performance. Fans are eagerly anticipating a major announcement, especially after Pharrell featured an unreleased track known as “Doctor,” rumored to be from her 2013 “Bangerz” album, at a recent Louis Vuitton Men’s fashion show.

Cyrus’s last Grammy appearance in 2019 included performances with Shawn Mendes and a tribute to her godmother Dolly Parton alongside Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves, and others. Despite previous nominations, including for best pop vocal album for “Bangerz” in 2015 and as part of Lil Nas X’s “Montero” in 2022, Cyrus has yet to secure a Grammy win.

The Grammys are scheduled for February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, broadcasting live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. EST.
