Khyree Jackson, a 24-year-old cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, tragically died in a car accident in Maryland on Saturday. According to Maryland State Police, Jackson, along with Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton, was traveling in a maroon Dodge Charger in Upper Marlboro when their vehicle collided with two others. Preliminary investigations revealed that a silver Infiniti, attempting a high-speed lane change, struck the Charger, causing it to crash into a moving Chevy Impala and subsequently veer off the road into a cluster of trees.

Emergency responders pronounced Jackson and Hazel dead at the scene, while Lytton was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and so far, no arrests have been made or summonses issued. The tragic news was confirmed by Jackson’s mother, Ebbony Jackson, who received a call about her son’s death early that morning.
