The highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is set to take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fans can stream the fight on Netflix without any additional pay-per-view costs, a rare setup for such a high-profile match. To accommodate Tyson, who is 58 years old, and to adjust for entertainment value, the bout will have some unique rules that set it apart from traditional boxing events.

Instead of the typical twelve rounds, this match will last only eight rounds, with each round shortened to two minutes. Both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves, which are heavier than the usual 10-ounce gloves used in professional boxing, aiming to reduce the impact of each punch and potentially lower the risk of injury. Despite these precautions, Tyson and Paul will fight without headgear, adding to the intensity of the event.

Judging will follow a standard three-judge format, scoring each round in case there is no knockout. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations has approved these adjustments, emphasizing safety while maintaining the excitement fans expect from a Tyson comeback. Netflix’s decision to stream the fight has also sparked conversations, as streaming platforms rarely offer major sports events without added fees.

In addition to the main event, the evening will feature a co-main event with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, who will go ten rounds in the traditional two-minute format for women’s boxing. The undercard lineup includes bouts between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos, and Neeraj Goyat against Whindersson Nunes, making it a full night of entertainment for boxing fans.
