A new study conducted by the sexual health site Bad Girls Bible has identified the “Goldilocks measurement” for penis size, based on a survey of 1,400 women. The research found that the ideal size range is between six and eight inches, considered large enough to provide satisfaction but not so large as to cause discomfort. The study also emphasized that width is equally important, with over two-thirds of respondents highlighting its significance.
Women expressed dissatisfaction with sizes below four inches, with nine in ten saying a penis under three inches, medically termed a micropenis, would not be satisfying. Conversely, sizes over nine inches were deemed too large by half of the participants, with many stating it could negatively impact a relationship.
The research underscores the balance women prefer, where comfort and satisfaction coexist. The average penis size in the UK falls between 5.1 and 5.5 inches, slightly below the ideal range identified in the study. Globally, countries like Ecuador, Cameroon, and Bolivia boast higher averages, with Ecuador leading at 6.93 inches.
These findings highlight the varied preferences and the importance of communication and compatibility in sexual relationships, steering the focus away from extreme sizes towards a more balanced perspective.
