Congressman Joe Wilson has proposed a new $250 bill featuring Donald Trump’s face, but the idea has been met with significant backlash online. Wilson shared an image of the bill on social media, stating, “Grateful to announce that I am drafting legislation to direct the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring Donald J. Trump.”
Wilson justified the bill by claiming it would help Americans dealing with “Bidenflation” and called Trump the “most valuable President.” However, critics quickly pushed back, questioning whether this was the best use of his time in Congress. One user commented, “Really? I voted for Trump, but isn’t there more pressing issues at hand?” Another joked, “Now we have a large enough bill to pay for a single carton of eggs.”

Despite the criticism, Wilson doubled down, introducing the Donald J. Trump $250 Bill Act, claiming it would honor both Trump and America’s 250th birthday. The proposal has gained support from a few Republican lawmakers but has been widely ridiculed online.

While it remains unclear if the bill has any real chance of passing, Wilson appears determined to push the legislation forward. However, many Americans remain skeptical about whether a new denomination featuring Trump would solve any economic issues.
