The Wienermobile involved was the Mini version, also known as the “LTL LINK.” After the accident, the Hotdoggers had to climb out of the passenger side door to reach safety. A crane was required to flip the vehicle upright, and it was eventually removed from the scene on a flatbed tow truck, leading to significant traffic delays. The front of the Wienermobile sustained considerable damage, necessitating repairs.
