Robert F. Kennedy Jr. once kept a list of 43 alleged mistresses in his cellphone, with the contacts saved under the letter “G,” which his late wife believed stood for “goomar,” Italian slang for mistress. Among the names on this list was Cheryl Hines, his now-wife, whom he married in 2014. This revelation has resurfaced amid a recent sexting scandal involving Kennedy and New York magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi. The scandal has put Kennedy’s past infidelities back in the spotlight.

Hines has not publicly commented on the recent reports linking her husband to Nuzzi, but sources close to her insist she is strong and independent and would not tolerate such behavior lightly. Kennedy’s late wife, Mary Richardson, who died by suicide in 2012, reportedly believed he used aliases while engaging in affairs across various cities. The list included women identified by descriptors like “airplane,” “farm,” and even just the letter “Z.”

The situation has been further complicated by allegations that Kennedy documented his affairs in detailed diaries, using codes for different sexual acts. While he has dismissed the existence of such a diary, he previously admitted to battling “lust demons” and described the diaries as a tool for spiritual self-examination. His spokesperson has not responded to recent requests for comment regarding the alleged mistress list.

The recent scandal has cast a shadow over Kennedy’s political career, especially after he suspended his presidential campaign last month and endorsed Donald Trump. The involvement of Olivia Nuzzi, who allegedly had a personal relationship with Kennedy, has only intensified public scrutiny. Despite the controversy, Kennedy’s team continues to deny that there was any significant relationship between him and Nuzzi beyond a single interview.
