A man dining at a restaurant in Philadelphia was struck in the head by flying debris from the recent medical jet crash, which killed all six people onboard. The small aircraft, a Medevac flight carrying a young girl, her mother, and four crew members, crashed just 30 seconds after takeoff, sending wreckage flying into nearby areas.

The terrifying moment was caught on CCTV at the Four Seasons Diner, located a quarter of a mile from the crash site. In the footage, diners can be seen ducking as debris blasts through the restaurant. One man, sitting in a booth, is hit in the head and collapses sideways. Witnesses described seeing a significant amount of blood, though he was later confirmed to have survived.

Restaurant manager Ayhan Tiryaki told reporters that while the man was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, no one else inside the diner was injured. “He was OK, but he was bleeding, a lot of blood on his head,” a staff member said.

Philadelphia officials have confirmed that one person on the ground, a car driver, has died from the crash, while at least 19 others have been injured. Authorities warn that the number of casualties could rise as investigations and recovery efforts continue.
