The sketch portrayed a fictionalized version of the meeting, with Johnson’s Trump jokingly introducing himself as the “CEO of the Gaza Hotel,” referencing Republican discussions about rebuilding Gaza. The parody also mocked Trump’s handling of the situation, with his character instructing Zelenskyy to “tell Vladimir Putin how much you loved him and you’re sorry.” Meanwhile, Yang’s Vance continually interrupted Zelenskyy, demanding he “say thank you” every few seconds.
Fans had mixed reactions to the skit, with some calling it “pure comedic genius” and praising Myers’ portrayal of Musk. One viewer tweeted, “Mike Myers as Elon Musk is absolutely hilarious.
