Agostina Rubini Medina, a 24-year-old student in Majorca, tragically died after falling into a dumpster while trying to retrieve an item. After a night out with friends, she was last seen near a bus stop on October 2. Investigators believe she accidentally fell into the dumpster and passed out while attempting to recover something. Sadly, the dumpster was emptied into a garbage truck, where Medina was crushed to death before her remains were incinerated at a waste disposal facility.
Police used her cellphone signal to track her movements and found a witness who had seen her purse near the dumpster shortly before the truck arrived. Authorities confirmed that Medina had trouble handling alcohol, which may have led to her passing out inside the dumpster.
