Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated “Eras” tour concerts in Vienna have been abruptly canceled due to concerns over a planned terrorist attack. Despite the arrest of two men connected to the plot, Austrian authorities remain uneasy, fearing not all involved have been apprehended.

The arrested suspects, both Austrian citizens, were found with bomb-making materials in the home of a 19-year-old. Authorities believe the men, who had pledged allegiance to ISIS, targeted one of the three shows scheduled for this weekend in Vienna. A statement from Vienna officials emphasized the necessity of canceling the concerts to ensure everyone’s safety.

“Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Vienna shows canceled due to government officials’ confirmation of a planned terrorist attack… We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” the statement read. Ticket holders will receive full refunds for the canceled events.

The incident has cast a shadow over Swift’s upcoming performances, with uncertainty about potential impacts on her future shows, including a scheduled concert at London’s Wembley Stadium next week.
