Travis Kelce revealed that listening to Taylor Swift’s music helped him cope with the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month. Speaking on his New Heights podcast, Kelce said, “I just listen to Taylor’s music. She has something for everything.” His brother, Jason Kelce, agreed, adding, “No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”

Kelce, who had just four catches for 39 yards in the Chiefs’ 40-22 defeat, admitted that his music choices often reflect his emotions. “The only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,” he explained, suggesting that Swift’s songs helped him process the loss.

Swift was at the Super Bowl supporting Kelce, as she has throughout their relationship since 2023. Meanwhile, speculation about Kelce’s possible retirement has circulated, but Chiefs general manager Brett Veach stated, “He has one more year under contract… We’re excited to get him back and get him going.”

Despite the tough loss, Kelce appears to be staying focused on the future, with Swift’s music playing a part in keeping him motivated.
