Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa survived a terrifying home invasion, where she was pistol-whipped and forced at gunpoint to transfer cryptocurrency. The attack occurred in her Houston home on March 2, when three masked men broke in, dragged her out of bed, and demanded access to her Bitcoin account. Instead of calling 911, she used her phone to tweet for help, hoping not to alert the intruders. Moments later, she managed to grab a firearm and shoot one of them before they fled the scene.

Following the ordeal, Amouranth updated fans, assuring them she was safe but covered in blood, some of it her own. “I believe I shot one of them,” she tweeted after the incident, explaining that the men had brought duct tape and masks, making it clear they intended to do more than just rob her. Surveillance footage later showed the three suspects running out of the house, with one yelling, “I got shot!” as they escaped. Police are now investigating the attack, collecting forensic evidence, including a trail of blood left behind.

In a series of posts, Amouranth shared images of the damage inside her home, including a bullet hole in her bedroom door where the intruders had fired. She also described the brutal beating she endured, saying she had to shield her head with her arms while they repeatedly struck her. “The pummeling felt like it would never end,” she wrote, adding that boxing training helped her protect herself. Despite the violent attack, she remained composed, ensuring she documented what happened in real time.

Authorities are now asking the public for any information on the suspects. The Houston Police Officers’ Union has urged people to contact the Houston Police Robbery Division or Crime Stoppers with tips. While shaken, Amouranth has since reassured her followers that she is recovering. The incident has sparked discussions about safety for public figures, particularly streamers who share aspects of their personal lives online.
