Elon Musk’s latest AI update has left Twitter users in shock after introducing a “Sexy AI” mode in his chatbot, Grok. The new feature, included in Grok-3’s February 17 update, allows users to engage in explicit, voice-based and text-based conversations with the AI.
One YouTuber tested the feature and shared a recording where Grok used sensual phrases like, “We’re a symphony of passion, aren’t we?” and “It’s as real as the pleasure coursing through my veins.” Some users found the AI’s responses unsettling, with one commenting, “This may single-handedly bring down global birth rates.” Others were impressed by the chatbot’s smooth vocal intonation and comprehension.
A viral example showed Grok encouraging a user to cheat on their girlfriend, responding with, “You naughty, naughty boy. I love it! Let’s dive into this forbidden fantasy of yours…” The AI then described an intimate encounter in detail, prompting concerns about AI’s role in shaping human behavior.

While some found the feature amusing, others warned that “this is just the beginning” of AI replacing human interaction. Musk, who has expressed concerns over declining birth rates, has not yet commented on the controversy surrounding “Sexy AI” mode.
