A UPS delivery driver in North Hills, Los Angeles, is facing severe backlash after allegedly causing the death of a small dog by tossing a 55-pound package over a gate. Naria Harutjunjan, the dog’s owner, discovered her beloved pet, Lulu, crushed under the heavy parcel. CCTV footage from a neighbor’s camera captured the driver heaving the package over the gate before squatting down, possibly hearing the dog’s cries, and then driving away.

Harutjunjan, who had recently rescued Lulu, rushed the dog to the Mission Hills clinic with the help of her neighbors, but unfortunately, Lulu did not survive. Harutjunjan expressed her deep sorrow, sharing that she had told Lulu how much she loved her just before the incident. The devastating event has left her contemplating legal action against UPS, the delivery driver, and Amazon.

UPS has acknowledged the incident and stated that they are investigating the matter. They have been in contact with Harutjunjan and expressed their concern over the tragic situation. Meanwhile, Amazon has yet to comment on the incident. Harutjunjan emphasized that the driver didn’t attempt to use the Ring doorbell before deciding to throw the package, highlighting a lack of consideration and care.
