Kamilla Belyatskaya, a 24-year-old aspiring actress, tragically died after being swept into the ocean while practicing yoga on rocks in Koh Samui, Thailand, just days before her wedding. The incident occurred on November 29, when unexpected waves reaching up to three meters struck her. CCTV footage captured her final moments, showing her struggling in the water before her pink yoga mat was seen floating away.
Rescue efforts were hindered by dangerous monsoon conditions, with divers forced to suspend their search after 30 minutes. Kamilla’s body was discovered a few days later, about two-thirds of a mile from the location of the accident. Local authorities have since closed access to the rocky area and issued warnings about high-risk zones during monsoon season.
Before her death, Kamilla described Koh Samui as the “best place on earth” and shared her gratitude for being there. She had expressed happiness online, unaware of the impending tragedy. Her sudden death has left her family, friends, and social media followers heartbroken.
