Brazilian passenger Jeniffer Castro asked the mother to move her child from the window seat she had reserved. Instead of complying, the mother began filming her, calling her “disgusting” and accusing her of having no empathy.

Castro has since spoken out on a podcast, defending her decision and hinting at possible legal action against the mother for sharing her image online. She expressed frustration that flight attendants did not intervene, saying, “What I went through wasn’t easy.”
Castro claimed that after taking her rightful seat, the mother was rude to her, and the child cried for the entire flight. Despite the backlash, she has received significant online support, with many arguing that passengers should not be pressured into giving up seats they paid for.
