Adam Sandler has expressed his sorrow over the loss of Alec Musser, his co-star from “Grown Ups,” who passed away over the recent weekend.

Musser’s family confirmed his passing on Friday (12 January) at the age of 50, though the cause of death remains unconfirmed. Sandler, reflecting on his time with Musser, shared a heartfelt message on social media alongside a photo of Musser portraying the memorable Water Park Stud character.

“I loved this guy,” Sandler wrote. “Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.”

The duo appeared together in the 2010 film “Grown Ups,” which also starred Salma Hayek and Chris Rock. Musser’s fiancée, Paige Press, responded to Sandler’s tribute, expressing gratitude for his kind words. “Thank you @adamsandler Alec was my fiancé. He spoke so highly of you and I know working on grownups was one of the best times of his life. My heart is so broken.”

Press confirmed Musser’s death on Friday (January 12) at their home in Del Mar, California. In a series of Instagram Stories, she shared her profound grief, stating, “RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you… Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy. You were the best fiancé I could of ever asked for… I am never taking off my ring. @alecmusser I love you forever.”

She also posted a photo of their dog Rue, mentioning, “Rue sill never stop loving her dad, you were the best dog dad.” Additionally, she shared an image of Musser with matching Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUVs, expressing her emotional attachment to the vehicle.

Musser’s uncle also confirmed his passing to TMZ, without revealing the cause. Musser was renowned for his role as Del Henry in “All My Children” and had roles in “Desperate Housewives,” “Road to the Altar,” and “Rita Rocks.” He was also a fitness model.
