She pointed to political commentator Link Lauren’s post, which called the portrayal “downright disgusting,” saying it perfectly summed up her own feelings. She also took issue with the show’s overall tone, arguing that it leaned too heavily on “crude jokes” while failing to mock liberals in the same way.
During an SNL red carpet event, Jackson sarcastically noted that while the show had “something for everyone,” she questioned whether “Kamala supporters” were ever the target of similar jokes. She suggested that SNL’s declining ratings are proof that audiences are losing interest in its political bias.
The backlash against Hanks’ performance has continued to grow, with conservative commentators and Trump supporters voicing their frustration.
